The Pig at Harlyn Bay, Cornwall
Following the roaring success of the Pig’s first opening in Brockenhurst in 2011, and a further five successful Pigs from Dorset to Kent, a brand new Cornish arrival is set to hog the limelight in 2020. Set just outside the picturesque Harlyn village, close to the beautiful beaches of Constantine Bay, guests can choose from 26 vibrant bedrooms across the grand 16th century house and stables. The Pig Cornwall’s interiors will mirror the characteristic style of its predecessors – a medley of vintage-cool and upcycled funk. Take a dip in the Potting Shed spa rooms, grab a post-surf bite in the kitchen-garden-fuelled restaurant, or unwind by the fire in the converted ‘old pigsty’ hangout. Opens June 2020.

Artist Residence, Bristol
After a smash hit debut in Brighton, and subsequent buzzed-about openings in Penzance, Pimlico London and Oxfordshire, the Artist Residence Bristol is set to be the franchise’s most ambitious project yet. To be located in a Grade I-listed former boot factory, the hotel’s interiors effortlessly combine urban industrial touches with Georgian cornices and vibrant artworks by local creators. As well as a selection of 23 uniquely designed bedrooms to choose from, guests can expect an on-site bar, café, and Boot Factory restaurant.

Ruby Lucy, London
Pioneer of the ‘lean luxury’ philosophy, Munich-based hotel brand Ruby Hotels is poised to launch its first UK property in Southbank’s Lower Marsh this year. Comprised of 76 pared-back but luxurious bedrooms, Ruby Lucy’s interiors are inspired by the area’s bustling fairs and markets – combining old-world charm with a tantalizing taste of the carnival. Guests can expect rich, dark tones and bright brass accents, in playful juxtaposition with subtle stripes, and artworks of circus drums and juggling pins.
