Introducing Sleep + Eat: Europe's Hospitality Design Event

Eating out is big business, that’s nothing new. The UK’s market valued it at an estimated £87.9 billion in 2017, but more people than ever – 74% of diners, in fact – want to tuck into their cuisine of choice in an aesthetically pleasing space. Seamless, original and design-led restaurant experiences are in-demand. And the design professionals behind them are, more often than not, creating across hotels, restaurants and bars alike.

With that in mind, it makes sense to bring the wider hospitality supply chain together into one show. One that connects influential people working across hotel, restaurant and bar design and experience, and gives them space to network, specify and be inspired.

Cue Sleep + Eat: a conceptual playground for hoteliers, restauranteurs and the designers behind Europe’s leading hospitality projects. There’s already a significant crossover between exhibitors and visitors who conceptualise, supply and develop across the board. So as well as welcoming those who sit at the heart of this overlap, Sleep + Eat will function as a platform for entirely new visitor categories – the restaurant and bar-focused.

A diverse, intelligent content programme will compliment the show’s newly established ‘Eat’ offering. Thought leadership talks and keynotes on a huge range of restaurant and bar-related topics will feature alongside both hotel-specific sessions and ideas relevant to all.

A reimagined floorplan takes visitors on a journey through the wider hospitality supply chain across the entire show. New installations like the Eat Sets and a dramatic Instagrammable entrance sit alongside renowned exhibitors and cult favourites like the Sleeper Bar. This means exhibitors will spread their influence further, while visitors will have the chance to see myriad new designers and promote their own brand to operators and developers.

The expertly curated show floor is also increasing in size this year to allow for a larger and more eclectic range of exhibitors and installations. Every aspect of Sleep + Eat will reflect and amplify the evolution of hospitality design and experience. And from roundtables with industry influencers to boutique meeting lounges, there will be plenty of space to meet relevant people.

As Europe’s only edited hotel and restaurant design event, Sleep + Eat is a canvas on which the industry takes shape. It’s the authority in hospitality design and experience.
