Double Stages, Double the Vanguard Thinking

With the addition of Sleep + Eat’s restaurant and bar offering comes a fresh new seminar stage, curated by Supper magazine editor Heleri Rande. The Eat Conference will join the cult favourite Sleep Conference, moderated by Guy Dittrich, in hosting influential names from across hospitality design. Topics will span everything from trend forecasting to making it in the industry, and they will be announced over the coming weeks.

Guy Dittrich

A long-term contributor to Wallpaper* and Condé Nast Traveller amongst others, Guy is the Editor-at-Large of specialist hotel design magazine Sleeper, Sleep + Eat’s media sponsor.

He curates, programmes and moderates the conference element for a variety of global events including all twenty-four HI Design events worldwide so far, 100% Design, Maison et Objet, HDE Expo Shanghai, the Stockholm Furniture Fair, etc.  He also hosts Sleeper’s global AHEAD Awards biennale programme.

Guy presents, manages round tables and moderates for numerous hospitality organisations (CitizenM, Pandox, Design Hotels, Beyond Luxury Media) and suppliers (Bang & Olufsen, Villeroy & Boch, Philips, Hansgrohe, TECE)

Born and raised in Zimbabwe and having lived in both Munich and Brussels, Guy has recently returned to the UK.  In a previous life, he was the UK Managing Director for Design Hotels™.

Heleri Rande

Heleri is a freelance food and beverage strategist and a consulting editor for Supper magazine, the international title covering global hotel F&B. Supper explores the projects, personalities and products driving the sector and presents these in a quarterly print title, distributed to the industry’s leading figures.

Originally from Estonia, Heleri has lived in seven countries and holds a bachelor’s degree from New York University in economics and business, as well as an executive MBA in hospitality administration.

After spending six years in finance in both New York and London, Heleri returned to the industry that combines her passion for travel, food and excellent customer service.

She serves as an advisory board member for the Global Restaurant Investment Forum, is one of the founders of the Hyatt Student Prize Alumni and holds a seat on EHL’s United Kingdom Alumni Chapter Committee.
