Jeremy has spent his entire professional career in hotel development and operations. Since co-founding Sydell Group, he has been involved in the conceptualization and development of all Sydell brands and properties including NoMad New York, Los Angeles and Las Vegas; the LINE LA, DC and Austin; Freehand New York, LA, Miami, and Chicago; The Ned, London; Park MGM, Las Vegas; and Saguaro Palm Springs and Scottsdale.
Prior to joining Sydell Group, Jeremy served as Principal at GFI where he developed Ace Hotels in New York and Palm Springs. Before joining GFI, Jeremy worked at André Balazs Properties for four years, the last three years as the Director of Development. During his tenure at André Balazs Properties, he was responsible for overseeing the development of The Standard, New York, William Beaver House, and a renovation of The Standard, Downtown Los Angeles. Jeremy was also involved in the development and renovation of the Hotel QT, The Standard, Miami, and The Raleigh Hotel among others.
Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Columbia University and a Master of Science from NYU’s Schack Institute of Real Estate. He is active in the Tanenbaum Organization and serves as Chairman Emeritus of Urban Upbound (formerly known as the East River Development Alliance).
